Noah Taylor has been announced as a speaker at Semi-Permanent next year. Semi-Permanent is an international creative event for the arts, and will take place in Sydney, 2015 on the 22nd and 23rd of May at Carriageworks.
‘One of the largest events of its type, Semi-Permanent is a creative platform spreading art and design inspiration. It consists of a conference and side events which include exhibitions, competitions, workshops and parties… Semi-Permanent explores the diverse and exciting design world bringing together exceptionally talented artists and designers to speak at the event.” – Semi-Permanent
Noah Taylor’s artistic practice is wide-ranging in its span. While he has made music and performed as an actor for much of his life, it is only over the past five year that he has begun exhibiting his work as an artist. Living and working in England, Taylor creates ambiguous images centering around isolation, the same characters often found across multiple works, reflective of the way they have recurred to the artist throughout his life.
The schedule for Semi-Permanent will be released soon. You can find more information on their website
